The university of Ghana has postponed its commencement of the 2024/2025 academic year.
In a notice dated 25th September, 2024, it stated that the postponement is due to the ongoing strike action by various employee groupings.
Despite the rescheduling, special programmes will still proceed.
It also mentioned that a new date for the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic will announced at the appropriate time.
“It is announced for the attention of students and other stakeholders that commencement of the 2024/2025 academic year has been postponed.
This is due to to the ongoing strike action by various employee groupings.
Special programmes will however proceed as scheduled.
A new date for the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic year will be announced in due course”
