Samira Bawumia, the spouse of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia opens the 2024 Global Issues Service Summit (GISS), organised by the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA), in partnership with Al-Rayan International School (ARIS) in Ghana.
GISS is a three-day summit hosted each year by an AISA member school in Africa to teach students about local and global issues.
At the ceremony, the second lady highlighted governments effort and policies implemented to bring out the best out of Ghanaian students and acknowledged their contribution to Africa’s development.
She commended the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) and Al-Rayan International School (ARIS) in Ghana for their inputs and investments towards education in Africa.
