Education Minister, Dr Yaw Adutwum, is of the firm view that with the investment made in the education sector, people will beg to enrol their children with time.
He explains that the government is investing in infrastructure and also developing human resources to meet the times.
Public schools, which hitherto were the preserve of people who could not afford private schools, are becoming more competitive due to the investments being made by the current government.
“I assure you that with the investment being done, with time people will queue to seek admission in public junior high schools. You’ll come to me and ask that your ward is enrolled in a public junior high school,” he said.
He hinted at completely phasing out the current colours used by public schools across the country and bringing life into them by introducing bright colours.
