A leading member of Movement For Change, USA branch, Owusu Afriyie has revealed that, the flagbearer of the party, Alan Kojo Kyerematen initiated 1 district, 1 factory policy.
According to him, Mr. Alan introduced the idea to president Akufo-Addo when he was the minister of trade and industry.
“Alan Kyerematen initiated the 1 district, one factory policy and Nana Addo is aware. People even said it was not achievable, but now we see president commissioning factories across the nation” he said.
In an interview with Otixpress, Mr Afriyie touted the achievements of Alan Kyerematen, stressing the need to vote for him in the upcoming general election.
“Aside the 1 district, 1 factory policy, Chief Alan contributed immensely to other sectors. He made a substantial transformation in the auto mobile industry in Ghana. This has never happened even in Africa but Alan made it possible here”
“He convinced auto mobile industries to invest in the country and look at the expansion now. Mr. Kyerematen has also enhanced Free Africa continental trade. This seeks to allow African countries to trade seamlessly ” he stressed.
He However stated that, Alan policies are being replicated by other leaders in the world.
