“NDC sold state owned companies like tomatoes” the communications director for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team, who also doubles as a presidential staffer, Dennis Miracle Aboagye has stated.
To him, the National Democratic Congress passed the divestiture and implementation law between 1994 and 1996 which guaranteed them the right on state companies.
“When they came into power in 1992, all they did was to sell our factories. They passed a bill to law and that that guaranteed them the right to share the state owned factories amongst themselves and sold the rest between 1994 and 1996” he stressed.
Speaking in an interview on Kumasi based Wontumi TV, on 29th February, 2024, he mentioned that the government is making a steadily progress in all sectors.
“We have constructed more roads than the NDC did in 7 years. We have partnered with private individuals in construction factories. I admit we have challenges, but there are solutions to all” he added.
