Afua Asantewaa, a social media sensation, claims that Guinness World Records (GWR) violated their agreement by announcing the results of her singing marathon without her consent.
In an interview on GTV, she stated that the contract stipulated she would be informed first to announce the achievement. As of February 23, she mentioned being unaware of the results due to difficulty accessing the email from GWR. Despite notifying them about the issue on February 12, she has not received a response, and she emphasized the importance of having official documents for her statements.
Afua Asantewaa mentioned that she and her team were preparing to announce the results once GWR responded. She expressed awareness of the emotional anticipation surrounding the outcome and explained their intention to share the news through a press conference.
Emphasizing transparency, she stated her willingness to embrace the results, whether successful or not, and learn from the experience, just as she has done in the past.
