Former president, John Dramani Mahama, says he will provide 20% incentives on salaries of Teachers who will agree to serve in rural areas, when he takes the reins of government on December 7.
As part of his campaign message, Mr Mahama who is also the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), said this will enhance the working conditions of Teachers, when he is re elected.
He made this known in a post on X, which was formerly known as twitter.
“Teachers who agree to serve in a rural school will be paid 20% of their salary as an incentive. This will encourage Teachers to accept to serve in rural schools ”
