Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has made a bold promise to prioritize agriculture if elected as president.
He emphasized that Ghana’s progress hinges on focusing on agriculture for development.
During his Ashanti regional campaign in Ntobroso in the Atwima Mponua Constituency, Bawumia assured farmers that agriculture will be his number one priority. He plans to establish District Agricultural Mechanisation centers across farming districts to provide affordable equipment to farmers and expand production.
He said his government will providing equipment at affordable rates to farmers, adding that, adopting best practices and technologies, Ghana can improve its agricultural sector and drive economic growth.
